Engaging with the charming community of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, presented an exciting opportunity for our team as they sought a revamped logo design. Our approach began with an in-depth exploration of the town’s unique character and rich history. We delved into the heart of White Sulphur Springs, gathering inspiration that would ultimately shape the redesign of their emblem.
Drafts
I initiated the creative process by sketching a diverse array of logos, each aimed at incorporating distinctive elements and activities synonymous with the town. Seeking a well-rounded perspective, I actively sought feedback from a diverse range of individuals to gauge their preferences and insights, guiding me toward the most resonant and compelling direction for the design.
Concepts
I then digitized and narrowed down the direction that I thought was successful. Refining them in Adobe Illustrator until we narrowed it down to three, then one.
Final
Here’s the final logo for White Sulphur Springs, WV. It features West Virginia wildlife, the Greenbrier building, and a camping tent to represent outdoor activities. The design brings together the town’s essence in a simple yet meaningful way
